Can't wait for warm weather!

With Wendy starting her new job, 3day weekends every other week, we can go camping more often. Last year we were only able to go twice, we had fun though. I want Kynzi to have memories of camping and experiencing the great outdoors, without the distractions we have living in the city now.
I was looking up camping places last night and stumbled upon one that is here in town. It's the Warriors Path State Park. It has, biking, boating/marina, camping, free events and programs, fishing, hiking trails, horseback riding (with onsite horses and ponies), picnic facilities, a boundless playground (it's geared towards children of all ages and ablilties), swimming (olympic size pool adjacent to the camping area), and disc golf. Kynzi can run around and burn all her energy off at the playground, which will make bedtime while camping a lot smoother. Usually, it's a fight to get her to settle down and go to sleep since the other place we went only had hiking trails.
We went out to eat today and Kynzi did very well while there. She ate really good, so I got her a bowl of ice cream with gummy bears under the icecream and cookie topping on the top. Afterwards, we went to the nearby playground at the civic center here. She wasn't too found of the slide, which you do end up going fast. But she LOVED the swings! Kynzi laughed and laughed the entire time she was swinging, no it wasn't the first time on the swings for her. But by the way she acted you would think it was. Overall, it was a good day.
Lately, we have been watching the classic Disney movies. So far, we have watched Lady and the Tramp, Snow White and Pocahontas. We also watched the new Alice in Wonderland, today she told me Santa fell down the hole....creative imagination. I'm hoping to get a few more of the classic disney movies for her to watch.
But that's all for right now. Hope everyone is doing well.
